• Any requirements for bespoke joinery, handmade furniture or custom cabinetry, I’m here to help.

You might have a clear vision in your mind of what you want, or you might be after someone to help generate ideas and advise when it comes to style options, timber choices, surface finishes etc. In either scenario I’ll guide you through the design process, and assist as best I can.

This can sometimes be done over email or Zoom, but in many cases it helps to meet up face-to-face, so I can see the space, get the tape measure out and chat things through.

Following the initial consultation, I’ll draw up a plan for what we discussed and put an estimated price to it so you can understand what’s involved, with no cost or obligation.

  • If you decide you’d like to proceed then I’ll begin refining the concept into a finished design. Dimensioned drawings and 3D visualisations are produced as standard so you’ll be able to get your head around exactly what it’ll all look like, and we can work through all the fine details. Sometimes it helps to see materials and surface finishes in flesh, and if required I can provide samples.

Once we’re at the stage where you’re happy with everything, I’ll give you a definitive quote and raise an invoice for 50% to cover materials purchasing. This books your project in the workshop calendar.

  • Everything – with the exception of a few outsourced processes – is hand built and finished to order at my workshop in Old Market, Bristol. This means minimal time, disruption and saw dust when it comes time for delivery/installation.

  • When the exciting time comes and it’s all finished, I’ll raise a second invoice for 40% and contact you to arrange delivery.

Unless you choose to collect, freestanding pieces will be delivered personally and after helping you manoeuvre them into place, I’ll be out of your way leaving no more than some care instructions.

Anything built-in or fitted I aim to install over a matter of days. Small cabinets will be pre-assembled and large ones flat-packed so installations are as quick and mess-free as possible.

With it all done and dusted I’ll invoice for the remaining 10% and all that remains then is to sit back and enjoy your new piece of furniture.
